His graduation allowed him to return to the hustle and bustle of Karachi, to begin his career in Communications and Media. One of the most brilliant minds in the world of advertising he is a recipient of the highest number of international creative awards in the country. The Launch of DAIRA, which was a breath of fresh air for the Pakistani film industry, took him on a new path of creativity resulting in the coveted Kara FilmFest award being the only Pakistani entry in the Feature Film category. Daira has also to its credit the highest number of screenings internationally and lists as Top Sales in DVD release figures. Thereafter, he worked with Jang Group and Geo TV. In November 2005, he quit his job to start Botal Gali. An exceptional writer Shahzad has been writing features for various magazines and newspapers besides writing songs. As a music producer he has to his credit the biggest soundtrack release in Pakistan. He is the man who brings pages, songs and art to life with his words, design and musical sense. His work grip and bind you with utmost intensity and passion. As an actor he has the ability to portray the emotions and dialogues with fervor. He has so far acted in three serials, one series and one telefilm. Botal Gali will be his directorial debut.
